Biography

Oriana Benfatto received the B.Sc. degree in industrial engineering in 2019 and the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering in 2022, both from the University of Pavia, Pavia, Italy, where she is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with PELAB, the Power Electronics Laboratory. Her research interests include grid-connected converters operating in grid-forming and grid-following modes, stability analysis, and control strategies.

Each power converter in modern power grids has local intelligence, control and filters: the complex interactions between them require advanced stability assessment methods and global control design methods.
