Biography

Francesco Del Sorbo is a PhD Student at the University of Pavia, Pavia, Italy, where he received the B.Sc. and the M.Sc. degrees in Industrial Engineering in 2023, and in Electrical Engineering in 2025, respectively. In 2025 he started working on his PhD project in the PELAB, the Power Electronics laboratory at the University of Pavia. His work focuses on DC-DC isolated power converters featuring wide band-gap semiconductors.
