AI data centers require efficient, compact and grid-friendly power supply chains from the medium-voltage grid to the rack. We work on multi-port solid-state transformers as the interface between the MV grid and LV/DC server infrastructure, and on the isolated DC/DC stages behind them: ISOP LLC resonant converters and Dual Active Bridges, including multi-objective design optimization, high-frequency transformer design and the use of GaN devices. The same converters are applied to electric vehicles, motorsport and more-electric transportation.
Key capabilities
- MV-to-DC solid-state transformer architectures
- ISOP LLC and DAB design and control
- Multi-objective and HF transformer optimization
- GaN-based power stages and gate drivers
